A group of Year 9 students have begun their 6-week Community Action Champions course delivered virtually by the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Peace Foundation.
We are excited to be continuing our work with this fantastic organisation and look forward to providing further updates as the project progresses.
As Youth Community Action Champions, students will be provided with the opportunity to take a proactive and positive role in challenging prejudice, discrimination and extremism.
They will also develop problem solving and conflict resolution skills, and learn how to facilitate difficult conversations around prejudice and discrimination, with their peers and in the wider community.
