In 2018 the BBC transmitted Mothers’ Day, a factual drama based on the events of the IRA bombing of Warrington in 1993 which took the lives of Tim Parry and Johnathan Ball. 54 others were injured, some seriously. The incident shocked the nation and gained worldwide publicity.

Following the release of ‘Mother’s Day’ Colin and Wendy Parry invited Vicky McClure, Anna Maxwell Martin and Daniel Mays (the actors who took part in the film) to become Patrons of the Peace Foundation along with an invitation to visit the Peace Centre. During their visit our new Patrons were interviewed by Colin Parry about their roles in Mothers’ Day and how they could support the Foundation in their roles as Patrons of Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Peace Foundation.
