The Peace Foundation adheres to all legislation and guidance governing work, public gatherings and events and there will be no organised public event this year, either at Bridge Street or at the Peace Centre. Everyone is asked to observe the ‘stay at home’ restrictions in place at this time.

The Peace Foundation will mark the anniversary through an ‘online’ commemoration that will include words from Colin Parry, civic dignitaries from Warrington Borough Council, and a representative of Warrington faith communities.

Terry O’Hara, Manager of the Peace Foundation’s peer support service for victims and survivors of terrorism, said: “This was a sad decision to have to make but there was no question of breaching the rules and nothing takes away from the significance of this day.
“I hope you share with us in thinking of Colin, Wendy and the Parry family, Johnathan’s family, Browen’s family and all others affected by this and all other acts of terrorism”
